Dining Hall Refurbishment

In collaboration with Lou Day Interiors, we resurfaced some of the areas around the St Catherines College dining hall. The client was looking for a way to update the space without the need to replace existing furniture and fittings, and architectural vinyl was the perfect solution.

We were tasked with the dining tables, doors, walls and a little bit of signage:

The Dining tables were sanded, primed, and wrapped in SPW47 Timber vinyl to give them a refreshed, natural wood look.

Doors throughout the space, including double doors, fire doors, and sliding doors, were wrapped using PNT07 Painted Wood vinyl, providing a consistent aesthetic throughout.

The lectern and ice cream freezer were also wrapped in SPW47 and PNT07 finishes, seamlessly integrating them into the overall design.

The feature walls were fitted with primed MDF boards and wrapped in PM007 vinyl to create a striking 3D marble stepped design. This was complemented by the nook surrounding the serving hatch, while composite boards were installed over the tiled kitchen wall to provide a sleek and cohesive finish.

Custom Saint Catherines College Crests were cut out and installed to personalise and enhance the space.

This project demonstrated a commitment to sustainability by reusing existing furniture and minimising waste. The entire process was completed efficiently, reducing downtime and ensuring that the dining hall was back in operation quickly. The result was a modern, refreshed space that aligned with the college’s goals of eco-friendliness and style.
