The secret ingredients

If you’ve ever wondered what the makeup of Architectural Vinyls are then this is a simplified breakdown for you. The bottom layer can be described as paper release liner that protects adhesive until installation time! Next comes glue-itself, with crosshatched imprint to allow air escape while applying the vinyls without air bubbles.

Finally come patterns printed on top in various colours which give each vinyl their unique look with the added clear laminate (sometimes textured to suit the printed layer) that helps to protect the printed designs and extends the lifespan of the vinyl. So there you have it – a non scientific breakdown of architectural vinyls!
